Day 1: Antananarivo – Nosy Be  
Departing from Johannesburg on a Saturday, you will arrive to Nosy Be in the evening, after a change of planes in Antananarivo.
You will be met and transferred on arrival in Nosy Be to the Vanila hotel, set along the white sandy beach on the west coast of Nosy Be. Nosy Be, also known as Nosy Manitra -"The scented Island” , brings about fragrances of Ylang Ylang, Frangipani, Vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon and sugar cane. 
 

Day 2 / 3/ 4 / 5 / 6:   Nosy Iranja Resort 
After breakfast at the Vanila hotel, you will be transferred via speedboat for your 90 minute transfer to Nosy Iranja Resort.

Situated on an incredibly beautiful tropical island and just 90 minutes by speedboat south west of Nosy Be, Nosy Iranja Lodge is a luxurious resort bringing an exclusive experience to the Nosy Be archipelago. Nosy Iranja consists of two islands connected by a 1500 metre sandbank which can be walked across at low tide. The stunning beaches surround the island which are covered with coconut palms and tropical flowers.
The bigger northern island - Nosy Iranja Be, is home to a delightful lighthouse designed by Gustav Eiffel, and a small village inhabited by the local fishermen.

The island has many attractions and amenities, one of the most notable being that it is an important breeding reserve for hawksbill turtles. If you request it, the staff will wake you in the night to lead you to the egg laying areas, where respectful monitoring of the breeding project takes place under the eye of a scientist from Nosy Be.

The next few days are at your leisure. Nosy Iranja is a vision of paradise with its white sandy beaches, the sea of emerald color and the luxuriant vegetation lying at its background. The bird life is diverse and the island is also home to huge Coconut crabs.

Guests can enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving from the island, or can take some walks around the island to discover her riches.  Waterskiing, fishing and paragliding opportunities are there for your pleasure, and to relax at the end of a hard day of beachcombing, you can indulge in an onsite massage.

Each of the 28 spacious suites overlook the fabulous ocean reef, and have their own private terrace offering tranquility and privacy.  They are built with natural Malagasy materials and are exquisitely finished.  The suites consist of a main bedroom with fan, a luxurious bathroom with shower and separate W.C, and a terrace with hammocks, massage beds and deck chairs. The idyllic white beaches which surround the island are covered with coconut palms, tropical flowers and are fringed by lush vegetation. [BLD]
 

DAY 7: Nosy Iranja Resort – Nosy Be   
After spending your last day on Iranja Island, you will travel via speedboat back to the Vanila Hotel, where you will spend your last evening in Madagascar.
Once again, you will be staying in an Ocean View room with en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning, on a bed and breakfast basis. [BL]

DAY 8: Nosy Be - Johannesburg   
You will depart from Vanila Hotel to catch your flight to Johannesburg via Antananarivo. [B]
