Return flights from Johannesburg to St Marie on Air Madagascar), 6 nights accommodation at La Petite Traversee on the island of Ile aux Nattes in a twin/double bungalow with en-suite bathroom (based on a half board basis in twin sharing room), 1 night at IC Hotel in Tana on a room only basis, all transfers and transport mentioned in the program.
Not included in the price:
All excursions not mentioned in the program, bottled water, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, laundry, visas and travel insurance, all lunches, breakfast on day 8 (due to early flight departure), personal items, airport taxes (approximately ZAR 2000 per person).

Day 1: Johannesburg to St Marie – Ile aux Nattes
Departing from OR Tambo at 10h00, you will arrive to the island of St Marie around 16h20 having connected to your island flight in Antananarivo. On arrival to St Marie airport you will be met and transferred to La Petit Traversee, set on the tiny island of Ile aux Nattes – just off the southern tip of St Marie. There are just a handful of lodges on this small island, allowing you the peace & privacy of a secluded island. Enjoy your days wandering the quiet beaches, swim in the safe warm water, & discover under the ripples with a snorkel.
During your time here, you will be sure to enjoy the excellent company of Ockie – the owner of the lodge. He can advise you on many activity options, such as a tour of the pirates cemetery, a pirogue trip around the island, a deep sea fishing trip, or a scuba diving tour (all at own expense). [D]
Day 2 – 6: Ile aux Nattes
At Leisure. Excursions are offered around the small island, as well as on St Marie and to various parts of the larger island (to see the pirate cemetery, the Island of sand, the Zoologic park). Le Petite Traversee can also arrange scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and whale watching trips (in season). All these excursions are booked in your own time and are for your own expense. [BD]
Day 7: Ile aux Nattes – St Marie - Antananarivo
After your last breakfast on the island, you will be transferred to St Marie airport for your departing flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport & will be transferred to the IC Hotel, where you will overnight before catching your early flight to Johannesburg (departing at 06h25).
Spend the day at your own leisure. The IC Hotel can arrange a driver and car for you to explore the city, or they can arrange a day trip to the lemur park, or the handicrafts market. [B]
Day 8: Antananarivo - Johannesburg
Wake early for your transfer to Tana airport, where you will catch your flight departing 06h25 for Johannesburg.
