Day 1, Saturday: Arrive Nosy Be - Madagascar
Arriving into Nosy Be airport in the evening, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Hell-ville. Restaurants and nightlife are there for you to explore at your own leisure and own expense. (Please note dinner is not provided as most people snack on the plane). After checking into the hotel, we can go into town for a drink and snack if you want.

Day 2, Sunday: To Lokobie Reserve
This morning we take an early transfer to the port and board the Dhow where we will have breakfast and a safety briefing. We then paddle to our tented camp in the Lokobie Reserve (about 2 hours). A protected reserve, Lokobe offers wildlife galore with the likelihood of you spotting several lemur species, colourful chameleons and maybe a snake or two amid the forest! [BLD]

Day 3, Monday: To Nosy Komba
Enjoy a leisurely start and paddle onto Nosy Komba (about 1 hour) where we will take breakfast overlooking the sparkling ocean. We will visit the local market & walk to the near-by reserve where you can see lemurs up close and personal! We then paddle to a guest house on Komba where you can enjoy a private beach in a secluded spot (about 1.5 hours).
Nosy Komba is an island with quaint villages, craft markets and famed for its habituated Lemurs, who may take a jump onto your shoulders! [BLD]
Day 4, Tuesday: To Ankify
Following the same early morning pattern, we paddle from Nosy Komba to Ankify on the main land of Madagascar, and then along the shoreline to Baobab Guest house. [BLD]

Day 5, Wednesday: To Mahalina
Today we take a break from paddling by securing the kayaks to the Dhow, and we head to the small island of Mamoke for lunch, and then onto Mahalina Camp.
If you crave more oxygen in your lungs, you can paddle around Kisimani Island in the evening, or around Mamoke during lunch.
Mahalina - we spend time here relaxing in the beautiful surroundings, or kayaking up the mangrove swamps. The area is great for snorkelling, fishing and spear-fishing. [BLD]

Day 6, Thursday: To Ankazbiravina
We paddle from Mahalina to Ankazbiravina for lunch and some excellent snorkelling, and then onto our camp in Russian Bay.
Russian Bay (also known as Ambavatory Bay), is a beautiful and remote place opposite the Nosy Be archipelago. Enjoy the fantastic marine life for snorkeling and fishing and maybe you might spot a whale (in season – from October to December) or a rare Whale shark. The tropical woods harbour abundant birdlife, reptiles and lemurs. [BLD]

Day 7, Friday: To Tani Kely & Lokobie
Today we take a leisurly Dhow trip to Nosy Tani Kely for a full mornings snorkeling in the marine reserve, with lunch on the Dhow. After lunch we make a lazy sail back to Lokobie for our last night. Alternatively the more energetic in the group can enjoy a 2 hour paddle to Lokobie.
Nosy Tanikely – a marine reserve teeming with underwater flora and fauna, allowing us the chance for some superb snorkeling in warm waters with great visibility. You are likely to spot an amazing variety of marine life; from coral, starfish and anemones to every colour and shape of fish - and perhaps a turtle if you are lucky! With a bit of luck, we may be able to spot the ring-tailed Lemurs while stepping on to Terre Firma. [BLD]

Day 8, Saturday: To Nosy Be
Up early this morning, for our transfer back to Nosy Be airport – homeward Bound! [B]
