ABOUT FERGUS - YOUR TURTLE BAY CAMP MANAGER:

Being a devout fisherman for the past 30 years and having had the good fortune of fishing in numerous destinations around the world for species such as Tarpon in Angola, Marlin in Mauritius and Tiger fish in Zimbabwe to name just a few has assisted in adding to my fishing experience. My preference remains that of salt water fishing - be it off a boat or from shore -spinning, trolling, cut bait or vertical jigging. Whilst I enjoy the excitement of landing large fish it is of equal importance that a variety of species are caught. I support a ‘catch and release ‘policy however I do keep the odd fish for the pan.

Fishing off the Wild Coast, South Africa, encountering large seas, strong currents and surf launches have been put to test all my skills at being a good qualified skipper.
